      Two piece kayak in Oahu

This is a quite review of the new 9.5ft Dragon Kayak in Oahu, which I will be comparing to my previous BOTE Rackham Inflatable Paddle Board. Overall I would say the Dragon Kayak has the following advantages: 1-Affordable: it is significantly more affordable than BOTE, which comes included with the pedal drive. BOTE Rackham costs $1200 just for the board itself. plus around $500 for the APEX Propeller Drive, then almost $800 for the shipping cost. 2-Availability: most Kayak makers don't ship to Hawaii due to the shipping cost, this is one of the few that do. 3-Easy Setup: the Dragon Kayak is easier to setup comparatively than BOTE Rackham, just put the two piece together and sail out.

      Great modular kayaks

Bought 2 of these kayaks - one aqua blue, one yellow/red. Both colors are beautiful and true to the online photos.

We're very happy with these kayaks. They're comparable to the name brand pedal kayaks, but at a far better price. The business owner was super responsive to my emails. They were shipped within days of placing the order. The assembly was pretty straightforward.

Learning how to align the rudder required a bit of trial and error, but we've been using the kayaks for about a month and they work great. We live on the banks of a quiet river and the kayaks are perfect for our location. We had tried a bunch of 10.5' kayaks but greatly prefer these slightly shorter kayaks. They're lighter and, as a short person, easier to maneuver on my own. The 2 halves come together and apart very easily. Probably won't be transporting them but they're particularly appealing if easy transport is important. Highly recommend these kayaks!

It can be easily fit in my SUV. And I like the pedal drive system.
